Written after visiting the cave of Apollo’s birth in Crete. Apollo was thought to have been fed as a baby on honey from Mellisa the Bee Goddess.

This is the experience I felt as I entered Apollo’s cave:

“I felt bathed in warm air, as if I was in the breath of the Goddess. The buzzing seemed to surround me; it was like someone had poured honey into every cell of my body, vibrating to the sound of what I can only describe as, ‘Absolute Love’. “
