OCTOBER 2024
ALL HALLOWS’ EVE PERFORMANCE
A poetic performance by Hélène Williams at ‘Peace by the Sea’, Tankerton.
Coniungere ad terram, Coniungere ad terram
The veil is thin on this ALLHALLOW’S EVE
A time to remember for those we grieve.
Connecting to earth,
The dark soil beneath our feet.
Acceptance of dark and light are needed, to complete.
We stand at the point of Summer’s end
Where apples fall and leaves become brown,
Seasons turn, and turn around.
Into the earth, this time of return.
It’s her womb-like nature and comfort we yearn.
Protected with leaf-woven blankety mist.
A place to consolidate, digest and reminisce.
Portal-ed hole forms underground,
The place where vulnerability is labelled, ’lost and found’.
A dark nothingness descends from above.
No comfort and protection, just a deep loss of love.
Diving into dark, dank, depressive ditch,
Knowing that sometimes, life is a bitch.
Though silent numbness swirls around & around & around.
A drumbeat in the distance enters, Eastern bound.
Could this be the beginning of another day?
The start of me being in another way.
Leaving behind my dismal sorrows.
Allowing possibilities for future tomorrows.
Coniungere ad terram, Coniungere ad terram
The veil is thin on this All hallows’ Eve.
A time to remember for those we grieve.
Connecting to earth,
The dark soil beneath our feet.
Accepting that dark and light help us complete.

THE WOMB THAT TIME FORGOT
At one time the land and oceans of planet earth were a sacred living being, the womb of creation. We have become disconnected from nature, replacing veneration with domination. As a result of this severance we have lost our sense of responsibility giving rise to a polluted world; in particular our seas are filled with sewage and plastic products.
Ritual performance where locals followed Hélene to the beach placing pebbles with messages to the sea in a womb shaped pattern. A poem was read then all chanted, ”Purgare Maris” meaning, ‘Purify the sea’, giving love back to nature.
PUGARE MARIS
A poetic performance from Helene Williams and Peter Coyte soundscaping on synth. Part of the Fiesta on the beach, a fundraiser for the local carnival in August. This took place in Whitstable on West beach on June 22nd 2024 at an auspicious time. It was high (full) tide, full moon and on the solstice - the time of full sun. Pugare Maris (latin for purifying the sea) was chanted by the audience in the last verse - lets hope the sea felt the love!
SUMMER SOLSTICE 2024

BEING NATURE
EXHIBITION IN MALLORCA
Hélène is a plant whisperer who communicates with plants, receiving images which form inspiration for the paintings in this exhibition.
Hélène has invented her own avant-garde technique, where watercolour paintings are transformed by printing onto silk/satin fabric and then framed in wood. The artworks from this exhibition are all created by this innovative method and sold as limited editions with a certificate of authentication.

Greek philosophers believed that the universe was an intelligent, single living creature. After centuries of disconnection between the sacred, us and the cosmos we are returning to this ancient holistic understanding of being.
Animation of spiderwebs blown by the wind.
CLARY SAGE
JUNE 2019
Meditating with Clary Sage this is the song that emerged. The paintings capture the visualisations received - a womb like place of being held and then rocked as if in a cradle - and an alchemical flask holding transformational elements.
HYPERICUM
OCTOBER 2020
Song from St John's Wort, Hypericum, received by Helene Williams. If we sit by a plant and sing different tones to it, intuitively a song emerges - this is the plants song that is co-created between us and nature.
URIZENing

THE GATEWAY BETWEEN TWO WORLDS.
June 2016
